About Our Company

Brad and Kayla McCulloch have spent a combined 46 years in the HVAC business. As the husband and wife team that founded and currently operate Brad’s Heating & Air, they believe in providing “good ole boy” service to their family, friends, and neighbors in Central Arkansas.

The friendly, professional, and courteous approach that we bring to the HVAC repair business offers our community a refreshingly different type of service. We offer our customers the same solutions we would use in our homes.

Who Is Brad?

Brad’s journey into the HVAC world began not long after meeting his wife, when he took an entry-level position working for her uncle. From there, he rolled up his sleeves and worked his way through the ranks, from install tech to lead installer, then into service, followed by roles as service manager and eventually general manager.

Brad, the owner of Brad's Heating & Air

When his wife’s uncle retired, Brad didn’t miss a beat. He stepped up to carry on the legacy of dependable, hometown service that their community counted on. His mission has always been simple: treat every customer like family and do what’s right, every time.

A 1995 graduate of Cabot High School, Brad was raised by a strong and supportive single mom who now works alongside him as the office manager. His family means the world to him, including his wife of 26 years, their wonderful daughter, and a home full of love (and dogs… Brad’s a big animal lover and will treat your pets like his own).

Brad is a proud former member of the United States Army, where he served in field artillery. He credits this experience for shaping his sense of discipline, integrity, and service to others.

He holds an impressive list of certifications that back up his decades of hands-on experience. He’s been EPA and NATE certified for over 20 years, is a licensed Master Gas Fitter, and holds both a State HVAC License and State Contractor License. He’s also National Comfort Institute certified in indoor air quality testing, airflow balancing, duct design, whole-house blower door testing, and Manual J load calculations. His training includes certifications from top HVAC manufacturers like Trane, Tempstar, Rheem, Goodman, American Standard, and Reme-Halo, just to name a few. He also holds an EPA Section 608 Type II certification through Mainstream Engineering Corporation.

Despite the long list of credentials and years of experience, Brad remains grounded in his core values. He believes in treating people fairly, doing honest work, and going to bed each night with a clear conscience. That’s the Brad difference—treating customers like family and doing right by them every step of the way.

The middle child of three, he has both an older and younger sister. His mother currently lives with his family in an apartment that he personally converted from a two-car garage, a testament to both his craftsmanship and commitment to family.

John has been like a little brother to Brad for over 35 years. Their bond runs deep, forged by decades of shared memories and mutual respect (not to mention a few good-natured scoldings from each other’s moms).

A graduate of Cabot High School Class of 1995, he went on to serve honorably in the United States Marine Corps followed by the Oklahoma and Arkansas Army National Guards.

He earned his associate degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology with honors from Pulaski Technical College in 2005 and holds an FAA license as an Aircraft Mechanic with Airframe and Powerplant certifications.

For the past 16 years, he has worked alongside Brad in the HVAC industry and has spent nearly 8 of those years in a leadership role as a service manager. He has held an EPA Universal 608 certification since 2008 and is also certified through the North American Technician Excellence (NATE) organization in heating, air conditioning, and airflow. In addition, he holds a Heat Exchanger Inspection Expert certification from Heat Exchanger Experts in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Known for his work ethic, integrity, and depth of experience, he brings a blend of technical skill, leadership, and a heart for service to everything he does.
